Mount Teide National Park Tenerife: Located on the island of Tenerife in the Spanish Canary Islands, Mount Teide is the highest peak in all of Spain, and rises to a height of 3,718m. Now part of a National Park - the Parque Nacional del Teide it is the most visited National Park in Spain, and also Europe, attracting in the region of 3 million visitors each year.
Mount Teide is an active volcano which last erupted in 1798.
You should be able to easily book a trip to the Mount Teide National Park from your hotel or resort centre. Day tours start from around £23 for adults £12 for children (2011).
Trips run from selected hotels in Playa de las Americas, Los Gigantes, Los Cristianos, Golf del Sur, Playa Paraiso and Callao Salvaje.
