Siam Park Costa Adeje:

One of the most popular water parks in Tenerife, the Siam Park can be enjoyed by couples and families alike, you don't need to be able to swim as the park has trained lifeguards. It has its own children's area "The Lost City", free buses run from main resort centres. Rides include the "Tower of Power", "The Dragon", "Jungle Snakes", "The Giant" and "Lazy River", there is also an artificial beach "Siam Beach". Tickets 19.50 euros and 30 euros, kids under 3 go free (2010). Opening times: Summer 10.00am to 6.00pm, winter 10.00am to 5.00pm.

Aqualand Costa Adeje:

Large and popular water park and dolphinarium located in Playa de las Americas. There is a free bus service which picks up in Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos, at selected hotels, it is open from 10.00am to 6.00pm.

Tenerife Attractions - Mount Teide National ParkMount Teide National Park (Parque Nacional del Teide):

Towering over the island Mount Teide is in fact the highest peak in all of Spain, reaching a height of 3,718m. The areas around this huge volcano is now a protected National Park (since 1954), and is the most visited National Park in Spain, and Europe, attracting over 3 million visitors each year. Most hotels and resort centres offer tours to the park.

Las Aguilas Jungle Park Arona:

Situated in the hills behind the resort of Los Cristianos, the Las Aguilas Jungle Park covers an area of some 75,000 square metres and features animal shows and demonstrations set in beautiful tropical gardens. This zoological and botanical park has over 500 animals on display, shows include exotic birds and birds of prey, among the main attractions are the white lions.

CamelCamel Park Los Cristianos:

Enjoy a one hour camel ride around this park just 10 minutes drive from Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas. Also see farm animals, goats, chickens, ducks, donkeys etc, visit the souvenir shop or the El Cerro de la Luna restaurant.

Loro Parque Puerto de la Cruz:

A busy wildlife park near to Puerto de la Cruz, Loro Parque has a large dolphinarium, parrot collection, tigers, aquarium and much more. Animal shows throughout the day. Among the main attractions are the killer whales introduced in 2006. Free road train every 20 minutes from Plaza Reyes Catolicos, Puerto de la Cruz. Open 8.30am to 5.00pm. Ticket prices: Children 21 euros, Adults 32 euros (2010).

Tenerife Zoo - Monkey Park:

Biggest Little Zoo in the World", breeding centre for endangered species and primates, feed the iguanas, squirrel monkeys, lemurs etc. Open 9.30am to 5.00pm every day. Prices: Children 5 euros Adults 10 euros (2010).

Damon Park Costa del Silencio:

Located between the Primavera and Eureka complexes, children's leisure park with tennis courts, mini-golf and petanque.

Aquapark Octopus Park Playa de las Americas:

Another water park located close to San Eugenio, it has water slides and rides and dolphinarium. Slides include "Kamikaze", "Anaconda", "Twister", "Crazy Racer" and "Super Slamom".
